Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) team at Micron Technology. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our existing AMHS system, as well as installing and sustaining new systems in our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • AMHS System Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our AMHS system, ensuring seamless integration with our manufacturing processes.
  • System Installation and Sustainment: Oversee the installation and maintenance of new AMHS systems, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers and technicians responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our AMHS systems.
  • Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with our AMHS vendors, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality systems and components.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful completion of AMHS system installations and upgrades.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or computer science.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with a focus on AMHS or factory automation.
  • Skills: Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing; experience with Muratec, Daifuku, or Asyst Shinko AMHS systems; and direct experience with Rorze automation systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Certification: PMP certification is preferred but not required.
  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years of experience leading projects and teams.
