The Opportunity:
We are in search of a Full-Time Member Service Specialist at our Lyon Crossing branch to become a part of our Zeal family.
If you possess the qualifications outlined below, this Member Service Specialist position may be an excellent fit for you:
- Minimum of 6 months of Customer Service Experience
- A genuine passion for assisting others and a desire to work collaboratively with people
- Enjoys problem-solving and taking the initiative to provide solutions for our members
Additional Requirements:
- Exceptional Communication Skills
- Strong Attention to Detail
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a financial institution
- Experience in sales and cash handling
- Familiarity with loan processes
Key Responsibilities of the Member Service Specialist:
New Account Specialist:
Facilitate the opening of new accounts and provide service for existing accounts. Ensure members receive all necessary information regarding their membership.
Loan Specialist:
Gather and submit member information for loan applications and oversee the disbursement of loan funds.
Assist members directly with their financial inquiries, which includes transaction processing, account questions, product and service information, and remote access support.
Balance the teller drawer and promote Credit Union products and services tailored to members' needs.
Ensure accurate balancing and posting of the ATM and consistently meet or exceed established sales targets.
