Job Summary
We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe. As a Medical Scribe, you'll work closely with our physicians and advanced practice providers to document patient information, place orders, and monitor lab results. You'll also have the opportunity to perform hands-on patient care, including vitals, lab specimens, and medication administration.
Responsibilities
- Document patient history, physical exam findings, and procedures
- Place orders for lab tests, imaging tests, and medications
- Monitor lab and imaging results
- Record diagnoses and choose appropriate discharge and follow-up instructions
- Perform hands-on patient care, including vitals, lab specimens, and medication administration
Requirements
- Completion of freshman level of college with plans to pursue a career in the medical field
- Full-Time (3 days a week) or Part-Time (summer and part-time during school year) schedule
- 12-hour shifts (no overnights), alternate weekends, alternate holidays
- Reliable transportation
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years old
- Desire to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong attention to detail in written and oral communications
