Job Summary

As a Senior Manager, Apparel Designer, you will be responsible for creating designs exclusively for Private Brands and developing trend strategies that support the Walmart Apparel Strategic Business Unit (SBU) merchandising goals. You will assure that Walmart's private brand DNA/guidelines, trends, aesthetic/style, quality, and value all support the customer's needs and lead the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for the brand, ensuring alignment with broader Walmart strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand collections and strategy are in alignment with other business unit strategies.
  • Partner with marketing and brand services teams to ensure all cohesive brand vision is executed through all packaging, promotional materials.
  • Develop and adapt to the ever-changing Omni retail environment, continually offering new experiences to customers to increase Walmart's market and customer wallet share, as well as customer retention.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 4 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 6 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area.
  • Cross-functional project management and Master's degree in liberal arts or relevant field are preferred qualifications.
