Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our team at our Soho - Bloomingdale's location. The Sales Advisor will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and upholding the Ted Baker brand's high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • People
    • Participate in a high-performing team, working with integrity and respect for others.

    • Be adaptable and flexible to the needs of the business in support of the team and the location.
    • Develop strategic partnerships and maintain productive relationships with host store partners.
  • Product
    • Stay up-to-date on current product information and increase awareness of the product.
    • Use product knowledge to generate sales and increase customer loyalty to the brand.
    • Follow merchandising guidelines, replenishment procedures, and housekeeping standards to ensure that Ted is represented at the highest level.
    • Support the management team with executing visual merchandising directives.
  • Commercial
    • Demonstrate all requirements of Ted's trainings and standards.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales through effective communication and product knowledge.
    • Have a good understanding of local and customer profiles and use sales techniques to build loyal customer relationships.
    • Actively seek knowledge and take personal ownership of achieving and exceeding location KPIs and supporting all brand promotions and initiatives.
    • Drive B-connected performance by promoting the use of database building and clienteling.
    • Have a strong commercial awareness of our competitors and local markets.
  • Operations
    • Be proactive and complete all tasks correctly and efficiently following Company policies and procedures.
    • Adhere to all Company health and safety procedures and use equipment properly.
    • Adhere to all loss prevention measures and protect the assets of the Company.
    • Accountable for accurate cash handling and banking procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a retail sales role, preferably in fashion.
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for providing a high-quality shopping experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and issues professionally.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Enthusiasm for fashion and a keen interest in the Ted Baker brand.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in fashion or retail management is a plus.
