We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team at Clearwater Living. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our communities and driving business growth through strategic planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management
- Prepare and monitor operating budgets to ensure financial stability and growth
- Meet with Executive Directors to review monthly P&Ls and ensure action is taken to address any variances
- Collaborate with the Vice President to review P&Ls and variance reports, and provide insights on major variances to revenue, expenses, or NOI
- Operational Excellence
- Ensure Clearwater Living systems are in place and producing satisfactory results
- Develop and maintain a clear understanding of all systems, procedures, programs, and standards for all departments
- Leadership and Development
- Provide support and guidance to Executive Directors and department heads
- Meet with department heads and coordinators individually or as a group to give recognition and support
- Promote teamwork through ongoing mentoring, coaching, and recognition programs
- Strategic Planning
- Review and approve marketing plans quarterly, with follow-up monthly
- Meet with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing to review census opportunities and challenges
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations required for the operations of our communities
- Respond to licensing visits and develop corrective action plans for any deficiencies identified
- Four-year degree from an accredited college
- Current government-required certification or license to manage a community (or working towards the required certification or license to manage a community)
- Two-year supervisory experience in long-term care or assisted living
- Multi-site experience required
- Evidence of First Aid Training/certification as required
- Background clearances as required by government regulations
- Complete a health screening and provide negative TB test results (must be within the last 6 months or within 7 days of employment)
