Maplewood Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to provide exceptional care to our seniors.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications as prescribed
- Provide direct care and service to residents
- Teach and counsel on wellness and health promotion
- Participate in assessments under the supervision of the Resident Services Director (RN)
- Support residents and families, and oversee Certified Nursing Assistants
- Train associates and audit care
- Complete monthly in-service training as required
- Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice
- Two years full-time or full-time equivalent clinical experience
- Experience working with older adults, with prior dementia and psych experience preferred
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks, such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, peers, and other staff members
- In good physical and emotional health, and free of communicable diseases
