Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve critical technical issues within the data center.
  • Install and maintain data center server hardware, including storage blocks, servers, patch panels, switches, routers, and other large-scale networking gear.
  • Familiarity with Linux command-line tools to assist with troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to respond to data center issues during off-hours.
  • Participate in disaster recovery mock drills and procedures.
  • Provide cleared escort services as needed to personnel requiring access for maintenance, inspection, and other purposes.
  • Perform light shipping and receiving tasks.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field.
  • Required Experience: 10+ years of experience in data center operations, computer systems, and computer networks, specifically with the Linux operating system.
  • Required Technical Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with computer systems and computer networks, specifically with the Linux operating system.
  • Ability to perform physical work, including lifting servers, network switches, and other equipment.
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with field-based work in POPs and data centers.
  • Experience in troubleshooting OS, network equipment, and software.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware or network-related issues using Linux-based tools.
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with active polygraph.
  • Location: On-site at the customer location in Aurora, CO.
