Job Summary

As a Lead Carpenter for Commercial Construction at Bowhead, you will be responsible for overseeing the carpentry work on large-scale projects. This includes construction work, framing, insulation, and vapor barrier installation, as well as finish carpentry skills such as cabinet and trim installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of carpenters on commercial construction projects
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to achieve project goals
  • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials

Requirements

  • Ability to work at heights above 12 while working from ladders, scaffolding, and/or man lifts
  • Ability to utilize personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toes shoes, goggles, etc.)
  • Ability to work in close proximity to moving equipment

Work Environment

The work environment is that of a construction site. You will be working in close proximity to moving equipment and will be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions.
