Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrician and Gynecologist to join our Women's Health team at our brand-new Specialty Clinic in Lakeville. Our clinic offers a comprehensive range of Women's Health services, including integrated care for obstetrics and gynecology, mental health, and uro/gynecology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care for obstetrics and gynecology patients, including general medicine, reproductive system, pregnancy, and childbirth.
  • Offer education, consultation, or intervention to patients and their families, developing treatment plans that meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with patients to improve their health and well-being, practicing culturally sensitive and patient-centered care.
  • Participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to case management, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Take advantage of our on-site medical imaging, coding program, and after-hours answering service to provide exceptional patient care.
Practice Details
  • Our Women's Health Service line has eight labor and delivery locations, with 13,800 deliveries per year, 30 clinics, and a team of 53 OBGYNs, 21 OB hospitalists, 13 Clinical Nurse Midwives, 11 Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, and 2 fetal interventionalists.
  • We offer nursing support programs for prescription refills, triage, and pap results, as well as after-hours answering service support.
  • Our quaternary hospital, Abbott Northwestern, features a Level IV NICU, while our tertiary hospitals, Mercy and United, have Level III NICUs, and six regional hospitals provide additional care options.
  • Mentorship and learning opportunities are available from a group of 80+ providers across our health system.
  • We collaborate with integrative medicine specialists, perinatal mental health consultants, and uro/gyn APPs to provide comprehensive care.
  • Call will be approximately 4-5 shifts per month.
