Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Obstetrician and Gynecologist to join our Women's Health team at our brand-new Specialty Clinic in Lakeville. Our clinic offers a comprehensive range of Women's Health services, including Integrative Medicine, Mental Health, OB/GYN, and Uro/Gynecology services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care for obstetrics and gynecology patients.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including general medicine, reproductive system, pregnancy, and childbirth services.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, providing education, consultation, and intervention to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with patients to improve their health and well-being, considering cultural diversity, individual autonomy, and legal responsibilities.
  • Participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to case management.
  • Take advantage of on-site Medical Imaging, coding programs, and other resources to enhance patient care.

Practice Details:

  • Our Women's Health Service line has eight labor and delivery locations, with 13,800 deliveries per year, 30 clinics, 53 OBGYNs, 21 OB hospitalists, 13 Clinical Nurse Midwives, 11 Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, and 2 fetal interventionalists.
  • We offer nursing support programs for prescription refills, triage, and pap results, as well as an after-hours answering service.
  • Our quaternary hospital, Abbott Northwestern, features a Level IV NICU, while our tertiary hospitals, Mercy and United, have Level III NICUs, and six regional hospitals provide additional support.
  • Mentorship and learning opportunities are available from a group of 80+ providers across our health system.
  • We collaborate with Integrative Medicine, Perinatal Mental Health Consultants, and Uro/Gyn APPs to provide comprehensive care.
  • Call will be approximately 4-5 shifts per month.

Requirements:

  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required.
  • OBGYN BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required.
  • Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable.
  • BLS Tier 3 - Multisource required within 6 months of hire.
