About the Team

The Zoom AI Companion team is transforming workplace efficiency in the age of generative AI. The AI Companion Core team is responsible for creating foundational AI technologies that facilitate groundbreaking AI experiences across Zoom's suite of products, including intelligent meetings, document processing, messaging, email, and scheduling. This shared technology framework also supports Zoom Virtual Agent for customer service, Zoom Revenue Accelerator, and Customized AI Studio. Composed of top-tier research scientists and engineers, the team is committed to delivering state-of-the-art technologies to our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engaging in research on Federated AI, post-training methodologies, multimodal comprehension for document summarization and Q&A, Multi-agent Systems, and Customized AI modeling.
  • Developing transformative AI applications that have the potential for significant business impact.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address unique product challenges.
  • Receiving mentorship and offering insights to foster innovation alongside experienced researchers and team members.
  • Fine-tuning and enhancing LLMs to boost model accuracy, efficiency, and user satisfaction.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Publications in prestigious conferences, such as ICLR, CVPR, ACL, etc.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, C++, or CUDA, and familiarity with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, Transformers, and Deepspeed.
  • Experience with novel LLM post-training techniques, including RLHF, reward modeling, and preference learning.
  • Expertise in multimodal generation and presentation techniques (e.g., for summarization, photorealistic avatars, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Multi-agent Systems (MAS).
Compensation Overview:

Minimum:
$122,200.00

Maximum:
$244,500.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE mentioned, Zoom follows a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that considers base salary, bonuses, and equity value.

Note: Initial compensation will be determined based on various factors and aligned with qualifications and experience.
