Join AEG as an Account Executive - Group Sales and take on a challenging role that requires strong sales and customer service skills. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing new business through prospecting, cold calling, and executing events focused on group sales of 50 people and more.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and develop new business targeted at large group sales through prospecting, cold calling, and the use of co-op, vendor development, and other sources as required.
- Target top employers in the region for ballpark outings through buyouts, picnics, group tickets, special offers, and other initiatives.
- Assist the Manager, Ticket Sales in implementing existing and developing new group sales plans.
- Assist the Manager, Ticket Sales in maintaining a database for group sales targeted at schools, churches, associations, non-profit groups, youth organizations, and other relevant entities.
- Oversee the organization and execution of specialty packages, such as birthday and faith and family nights.
- Promote season tickets, suite rentals, and premium seat options as needed.
- Track activity through a dedicated CRM and prepare and maintain records for sales leads and account status.
- Provide continuous communication with clients and customers to develop and maintain strong business relationships.
- Provide ongoing customer service to existing accounts throughout the season by visiting them during games and providing amenities and other services as requested.
- Bachelor's Degree equivalent college or technical school experience required.
- At least one year of working for a professional sports team or equivalent organization.
- Ability to attend all home games.
