Job Overview

Acclaim at East Beach is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Executive Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in the oversight of our community's programs and policies, ensuring the efficient and effective administration of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the on-site executive for all operations, serving as the main point of contact for staff, residents, prospects, community organizations, government agencies, and the public.
  • Maintain resident retention by working closely with residents and their families to address any issues that arise.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to all inquiries, whether in person, by phone, or in writing.
  • Stay informed about competitor activity and market trends.
  • Meet and exceed expectations for meaningful contacts, leases, and occupancy.
  • Ensure budget accountability and cash flow, proactively identifying and mitigating negative budget variances and deficits.
  • Recruit, train, discipline, and terminate employees in accordance with Senior Lifestyle Corporate policy.
  • Maintain all necessary licenses and certifications for the community.
  • Lead staff meetings and promote a positive, inclusive work environment.
  • Protect and promote resident rights, ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect.
  • Represent the community in local, state, and professional organizations, fostering strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Assume additional support and management roles as needed.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business management, preferably in the Senior Housing Industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively listen and respond to residents, guests, and colleagues.
  • Strong management skills and a willingness to work collaboratively with all staff members.
  • The ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • An active Driver's License.
