Commercial Lines Account Manager

At APR, we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing, retaining, and growing a portfolio of commercial lines clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial lines clients, providing them with comprehensive, personalized insurance solutions that meet their business needs.
- Understand clients' business operations, risk management needs, and current insurance programs, and develop customized insurance solutions to address these needs.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with insurance carriers on behalf of clients, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers when handling claims or other issues, providing exceptional customer service.
- Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes, and inform clients accordingly, ensuring they are always up-to-date on the latest developments.
- Meet sales goals and contribute to the company's overall growth and profitability, driving business success.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial lines account executive or related role in the insurance industry.
- Property and Casualty license required, with preferred designations such as Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), or equivalent.
- Proficiency in agency management software, preferably Applied (TAM or EPIC) or AMS360, and strong knowledge of various types of commercial insurance policies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and carriers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software for producing professional reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
