Job Overview

The Finance Technology Operations Lead plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and direction to the Tech Operations team. This position supports the overarching goals of the organization and collaborates closely with both the Senior Manager and Assistant Manager of Finance Tech Operations. The Lead ensures a consistent level of service across shifts and guides the Technical Team through departmental protocols and maintenance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to the Senior Manager and Assistant Manager of Finance Tech Operations.
  • Serve as a role model for the team in customer service and teamwork.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service in alignment with the company’s mission.
  • Act as the primary contact for department personnel and other organizational units.
  • Oversee the daily tasks of Tech 1's and 2's.
  • Ensure that TR's, Quick Jacks, and all cage equipment are functioning and maintained as scheduled.
  • Assist management with IT and Accounting to ensure accurate reporting and equipment balancing.
  • Support the training and development of all levels within the Tech Operations department.
  • Adhere to all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations, ensuring compliance with established programs.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date records as directed by senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to Key Controls and manage inventory of parts and equipment.
  • Collaborate with management on departmental projects, including maintenance and system upgrades.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure proper machine functionality.
  • Assist staff with customer disputes and equipment-related issues.
  • Exhibit leadership within the department, serving as an example to team members and communicating concerns to management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

  • Exposure to casino-related environmental factors, including secondhand smoke and high noise levels.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and navigate throughout the property.
  • Availability to work on holidays and weekends as needed.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in English communication (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
  • Comprehensive understanding of office management and daily operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with cage equipment, including printers, money counters, time stamp machines, and Quick-Jack/TR units.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Prior experience in a casino environment is preferred.
