We are seeking a seasoned and experienced Director of Finance Operations to drive the development of AR and AP automation in collaboration with our product and AI teams. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing our financial operations to support global expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Optimize Core Finance Processes: Develop and implement financial policies that ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly and annual statements, budgets, and forecasts, while driving automation and efficiency in AR and AP processes.
- Financial Insights and Decision-Making: Serve as the finance point of contact for product, engineering, business, and compliance teams, providing financial insights to support decision-making and growth.
- Process Improvement and Risk Mitigation: Continuously improve internal processes, ensuring strong financial controls and mitigating risks through automation.
- Automation Tool Evaluation and Implementation: Lead the evaluation and implementation of automation tools to streamline reporting and reconciliation with our payment networks and merchants.
- Data Strategy and Decision-Making: Partner with product and AI teams to develop a data strategy that supports accurate, timely reporting and enhances decision-making.
- Key Metrics and Performance Assessment: Develop and monitor Key Metrics to assess financial performance, leveraging data to drive continuous improvements.
- Financial Data and Insights: Contribute to the fundraising process by preparing financial data, reports, and insights to support investor discussions and presentations.
This role reports directly to the CEO and manages one finance analyst.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in finance operations, with expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process automation, particularly in AR and AP.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
