Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and education to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with departmental management to develop and implement safety programs.
  • Monitor and report on safety metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. occupational health, safety, environmental science).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Certification in a safety-related field (e.g. CSP, CIH).
  • Experience with safety software and technology.

Compensation Range

$40.00 per hour. Salary may vary based on experience.
