Xceptional Wildlife Removal is seeking a Full-Time Pest Control Specialist in the New Orleans, LA area. This role is distinctive as technicians will operate around one of our major client's locations, providing a variety of pest and wildlife management services.
  • Compensation for this position is set at $28.00 per hour.
  • Work hours are scheduled from Monday to Friday, 5:30 am to 2:30 pm, with occasional Saturday on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities
  • Pest Management - Perform inspections to identify pest activity sources. Develop and implement solutions using a range of products and services to eliminate pest issues. Conduct pest treatments and install products to ensure a pest-free environment. Maintain and operate service vehicles and equipment.
  • Customer Relations - Foster customer relationships through friendly and professional interactions during service visits. Address customer needs and propose solutions to pest problems, recommending suitable services to resolve their concerns. Inform customers about additional service options that may add value.
  • Ongoing Education - Gain expertise in the various products and services offered through comprehensive, paid training. Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the pest management industry. Engage in employer-sponsored training on new methods, products, and services related to pest control solutions. Obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications as mandated by federal, state, and local regulations.
Position Requirements
  • Pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and complete a motor vehicle driving record assessment.
  • Be available to work Monday through Friday and Saturdays as required.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
Additional Skills and Attributes
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop knowledge in pest management.
  • Ability to work independently after a training period.
