Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Manager, Project Accounting to lead our team in financial oversight for projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health of our projects through effective monitoring and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of project accountants tasked with financial reporting, contract closeouts, and budget management.
- Establish and maintain project-specific accounts to ensure precise financial tracking.
- Guarantee accurate financial postings, allocations, and timely payments.
- Review and analyze monthly project status reports to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Collaborate with project leaders to address and rectify financial challenges.
- Conduct thorough analyses of consolidated financial results across all projects.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- At least six (6) years of experience in financial reporting and systems management, with leadership experience.
- Strong expertise in budgeting and cost control, complemented by excellent communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in advanced MS Excel; familiarity with SAP is preferred.
- Experience in government contracting is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel 20%-30% as required.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is between $92,000 and $142,000 annually, contingent upon local market factors and the candidate's qualifications.
