Job Title: Automation Systems Specialist

Job Description:

Control Panels USA is seeking an experienced Automation Systems Specialist to join our team. The Automation Systems Specialist position is responsible for completing all programming, configuration, and communication services using equipment and software from various HMI, SCADA, and PLC manufacturers. This role is located in our Austin office.

About Us:

Control Panels USA is a manufacturer of Control Panels and Relay Rack assemblies in a wide range of industries. We offer custom design and fabrication for OEM clients, contractors, and end users requiring either large or small production runs. Our factory in Austin, Texas houses state-of-the-art engineering, manufacturing, and testing capabilities.

Responsibilities:

- PLC configuration and programming services from new installations to maintenance and improvement projects.
- SCADA programming services on various platforms.
- HMI programming services for various manufacturers.
- Perform Factory Acceptance Testing with clients and engineers.
- Perform site commissioning services.
- Ensure client expectations are met.
- Maintain good relations with clients and vendors.

Requirements:

- Experience with automation controller systems such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, and GE PLC systems.
- Experience with various HMI and SCADA systems.
- Field experience performing panel checkout and loop checks.
- Ability to perform troubleshooting, startup, and commissioning services.
- Project management experience on programming-only scopes.
- Effective client communication skills.
- Willingness to travel 20% of the time.
