We are seeking a highly skilled EHSSQ Development Specialist to join our team at Evonik. As a key member of our ESHQ Services Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of environmental, health, safety, and quality (EHSSQ) in our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-facilitate ESHQ audit teams and conduct special projects for the EHSSQ Services Department.
  • Lead EHSSQ projects, applying concepts from training and utilizing team member expertise.
  • Work with site EHSSQ teams to develop working knowledge of site needs and work requirements.
  • Attend courses to learn general knowledge of EHSSQ topics and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Take responsibility for different EHSSQ elements as a rotational requirement and develop project management skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or EHS.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, passion for self-development, and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in computer and MS Office skills.
  • Willingness to travel and relocate to another Evonik, North America Region facility within 1-3 years.
