Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our team at Thom Child and Family Services in Boston, MA.

This rewarding opportunity involves working with infants and toddlers who have developmental delays or are at risk for delays, providing home and community-based early intervention services.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to engage in meaningful relationships with children, parents/caregivers, and community partners.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000-$72,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package including flexible schedules, health and dental insurance, generous vacation time, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct speech therapy services and activities developmentally appropriate for children 0-3 and their families.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments of clients' developmental status.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support children's cognitive, adaptive behavior, social-emotional, self-care, fine motor, gross motor, and communication development.
  • Collaborate with parents/caregivers to ensure service delivery is individualized, meaningful, and grounded in evidence-based practice.
Requirements
  • Current Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or CF eligible.
  • Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
  • Ability to engage in therapeutic relationships with children, parents/caregivers, and community partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good computer skills and strong documentation skills.
