Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Speech Therapist to join our team at Easter Seals of Massachusetts Inc in Massachusetts. About the Role

This is a full-time position available in the Greater Boston area, Central Massachusetts, and surrounding areas. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including schools, day habilitation programs, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, and early intervention programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy across different settings
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training
  • Perform clinical evaluations based on acceptable standards of practice
  • Establish a plan of care with realistic, objective goals
  • Design and implement a treatment program with consideration of the client's diagnosis and environment
  • Educate client and caregivers in appropriate therapeutic techniques to promote clinical outcomes
  • Supervise speech assistants and aides, as appropriate

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved master's level program in speech & language pathology
  • Valid/current professional license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts
  • Massachusetts DESE Educator License (or in process)
  • Ability to travel to/between multiple work locations
  • Must pass extensive background checks and provide professional references
  • If selected for hire, candidates must be able to provide a recent physical indicating the ability to perform the essential functions of the job either with or without accommodations, proof of negative TB test, and required immunizations (including fully-vaccinated status for Covid-19).

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The salary range reflects the company's commitment to offering competitive compensation packages to attract top talent.
