Position Overview:
This role is for a Lead Aircraft Ordnance Systems Mechanic within the Air National Guard Units. The selected candidate will oversee and guide a team in executing maintenance tasks related to aircraft ordnance and electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
(1) Provide leadership and technical guidance to team members addressing issues related to aircraft ordnance and electronic systems. Regularly engage in diagnosing malfunctions and troubleshooting to facilitate effective repairs.
(2) Supervise the workflow of assigned personnel, ensuring that all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are readily available. Collaborate with weapon system mechanics and specialists to ensure efficient operations.
(3) Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members, ensuring adherence to established timelines and priorities. Act as a technical resource, offering insights on procedures and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
(4) Communicate with supervisors regarding work progress, challenges faced, and individual performance metrics. Assist in planning maintenance activities and recommend adjustments to work schedules for optimal resource utilization.
(5) Collaborate closely with skilled counterparts, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team performance.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of 36 months of specialized experience in aircraft ordnance systems, demonstrating the ability to lead and organize work effectively. A comprehensive understanding of technical publications and repair processes is essential.

Skills Required:
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft ordnance systems.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and utilize diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of electronic systems and their interdependencies within aircraft.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Additional Information:
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
