Electrical Systems Engineer

BETA Technologies is a pioneering company that's changing the face of electric aviation. We're seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge electric aircraft systems.
Your Key Responsibilities- Design and develop system architectures for electric aircraft systems
- Develop and test electrical components, circuits, and board designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other aircraft systems
- Troubleshoot and rework electrical equipment and printed circuit boards
- Develop test and verification plans for electrical systems
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in power electronics or electric vehicle industries
- Proven experience with analog and power component selection, circuit design, simulation, and test
- Excellent documentation skills for schematics, bills of materials, test plans, and data
- Working knowledge of communications protocols including CAN, SPI, I2C, MODBUS, TCP/IP, RS-485
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with electric vehicle charging standards including J1772, ISO 15118, DIN 70121, ISO 61851
- Embedded systems programming experience
- Experience designing and testing for EMI mitigation and EMC
