Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at MPR Associates, Inc. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, analyzing, and evaluating mechanical systems and components within industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the mechanical design and analysis efforts of multi-discipline system designs, including coaching and mentoring other engineers.
  • Develop design and analytical solutions for a range of technical challenges across various projects, including thermal hydraulics, structural design, and mechanical component failures.
  • Create design files, including 3D CAD models and 2D fabrication drawings.
  • Perform technical reviews of internal and external designs or analyses.
  • Communicate results internally and externally.
Requirements
  • BS or MS/ME in Mechanical Engineering (or similar discipline) required.
  • 2-7 years' work experience in the field of mechanical design, preferably with development of diverse skillsets.
  • Experience using solid modeling, analysis, and evaluation of structural/component designs.
  • Experience developing technical solutions based on analysis or testing.
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software such as ANSYS.
