Infant Teacher at Bright Light Academy

Bright Light Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Infant Teacher to join our team of early childhood educators.
We are committed to providing high-quality care and education to infants in a nurturing and stimulating environment. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with fellow teachers to design and implement engaging daily lesson plans and activities tailored to the needs of infants.
- Cultivate a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Actively engage with children during playtime, mealtimes, and other daily routines, providing individual and group support as needed.
- Maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and development.
- Conduct assessments to monitor children's growth and participate in parent-teacher conferences.
- Mentor new and less experienced staff members, sharing your expertise and fostering a supportive team environment.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) certification or an Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Children & Families.
- Minimum two years of experience working with young children, preferably infants aged 6 weeks to 2 years.
- Must meet the requirements for Assistant Group Supervisor or Group Supervisor with DHS.
- Successful completion of state, federal, and child abuse background checks.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, see, hear, and sit on the floor with children.
- Demonstrated patience, nurturing qualities, and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
