Fireservice Disaster Kleenup is seeking a skilled Construction Technician to join our team. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for preserving structural items and contents according to project instructions. Your expertise in drywall and finishing, painting, and trim carpentry will be essential in completing tasks efficiently and effectively. Additionally, you will be responsible for directing laborers in restoration protocols, documenting personnel information, and ensuring on-the-job safety. If you possess strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. Prior experience in construction is preferred, but not required. A valid driver's license is also necessary. Field Techs are required to have their own tools. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Reporting to the Project Supervisor at the start of each shift for job assignments and completing assigned tasks daily.
  • Completing the process of preserving structural items and contents according to the Project Supervisor's instructions.
  • Informing the Project Supervisor of the equipment and materials needed to complete the assignment properly and on schedule.
  • Directing laborers in the restoration protocols.
  • Documenting personnel information, hours, and work performed on a given shift.
  • Initiating results in time savings and cost savings for the project.
  • Practicing on-the-job safety and encouraging safety amongst the labor force.
  • Performing other miscellaneous tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Basic knowledge of drywall and finishing.
  • Painting.
  • Trim carpentry.
  • Team Oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be friendly and professional.
  • Prior experience in construction preferred.
  • Excels in Customer Service.
  • Requires a valid driver's license.
