Job Title: VDC Engineer

DeAngelis Diamond is seeking a highly skilled VDC Engineer to join our team. As a VDC Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing project-level VDC strategies, developing native 3D model content, and leading technical aspects of 3D constructability and design coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project-level VDC implementation, including BIM execution planning, coordination, and 3D modeling.
  • Developing company-wide standard Revit family and Sketchup component libraries.
  • Leading technical aspects of 3D constructability and design coordination, working with project stakeholders.
  • Aiding and supporting training in various software packages, including Revit, Bluebeam, and Procore.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • 2+ years of field VDC construction experience required.
  • VDC works sample portfolio required.
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of BIM software applications, including 3D native modeling, 3D coordination, and 4D simulation.
