Job Overview

Value pro is seeking a seasoned Risk Assessment Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for conducting thorough risk assessments for our IT systems in development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to communicate security and control requirements.
  • Provide oversight to ensure requirements are met throughout the development cycle and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Partner with Technology Segment Risk Manager, Sr, and Director to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Deliver regular Risk updates to segment leadership teams.
  • Participate in oversight and governance groups as assigned.
  • Maintain the Risk Universe across Cyber and Enterprise IT.
  • Ensure coverage alignment with FFIEC guidance.
  • Coordinate schedules with regulatory and audit calendars.
  • Work with Delivery and Risk Partners to understand active work and monitor progress against schedule.
  • Ensure appropriate coverage of risk assessment domains over a defined time period.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Technology Risk position, preferably in technology, cybersecurity, or infrastructure environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask, manage projects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with SLDC process and project management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Certifications like CISA, CISSP, or CRISC are preferred.
