About the Role

As a Director, Market Access and Channel Strategy for Takeda Pharmaceuticals' US Neuroscience division, you will be responsible for developing and executing sustainable market access strategies that enable patients to access our existing and future products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee market access strategies for in-line and pipeline products, including value story development, payer/PBM contracting strategy, pricing, specialty pharmacy and distribution plans, and payer/channel marketing resources.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Legal, Finance, Analytics, Public Affairs, and Sales, to capture relevant payer insights, identify data gaps, and develop compelling value propositions.
  • Understand the reimbursement landscape and incorporate this knowledge into market access and pricing strategies.
  • Manage and execute payer and channel-specific marketing plans to achieve patient and business objectives.
  • Align the organization on metrics to assess the impact of key market access strategies and tactics.
Requirements and Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced professional with a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 10 years of experience in biopharma market access. You should have a deep understanding of the US payer market dynamics and how managed care organizations make decisions across commercial and public channels.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • 10+ years of experience in biopharma market access required.
  • Experience with specialty products preferred.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to ensure robust inputs to decision-making.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of $169,400.00 - $266,200.00 per year, as well as benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and paid time off.
