Position Overview

PCIW STEEL CORP is seeking a skilled Structural Steel Fabricator and Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in steel erection and welding, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in all projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Layout and Rigging: Execute precise layout and rigging tasks for structural components.
  • Reading Blueprints: Ability to interpret and evaluate design and erection drawings effectively.
  • Steel Erection: Erect structural steel columns, beams, girders, trusses, and joists with precision.
  • Installation: Install stairs, landings, rails, and guardrails, ensuring all welding is performed to specifications.
  • Reinforcement: Cut, position, and secure steel bars to reinforce concrete structures.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in field experience related to structural and ornamental steel installation.
  • Welding Skills: Proficient in flux core welding, with relevant certifications.
  • Heavy Equipment: Experience operating scissor lifts and telehandlers is preferred.
  • Safety Certifications: OSHA, Rigger, and Fire Watch certifications are advantageous.
  • Bilingual: Proficiency in both Spanish and English is preferred.
Compensation

Competitive hourly wage ranging from $25 to $40, commensurate with experience.
