Job Summary

Pciw Steel is seeking a skilled Steel Erector to join our team. As a Steel Erector, you will be responsible for installing structural steel components, including columns, beams, and girders. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of steel components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install safety lines and posts
  • Erect steel columns, beams, girders, trusses, joists, etc.
  • Install stairs, landings, rails, and guardrails, and weld all rails and rail returns
  • Cut, position, and bolt down steel bars to reinforce concrete
  • Read, understand, and evaluate shop drawings (blueprints) preferred
Requirements
  • 2+ years of field experience installing structural and ornamental steel
  • Welding (ornamental - steel detail - erector) experience
  • Heavy equipment operation experience preferred
  • General construction experience preferred
  • OSHA, Rigger, Fire Watch experience
Compensation

$25 - $40 hourly (depending on experience)
