We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at Arizona Autism. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission of providing high-quality, family-centered ABA therapy to children with autism and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior plans based on these assessments.
- Ensure the effective implementation of all treatment plans and programming for clients.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and service providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Perform direct and indirect assessments to identify the function of client behaviors.
- Develop treatment plans, including behavior support plans, based on the functions of the behavior and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
- Attend relevant meetings for clients, including treatment team meetings, IEP/ISP meetings, and staffing meetings.
- Work effectively as a part of a clinical team and demonstrate sound professional judgment at all times.
- Collect data before and during the implementation of the plan to assess its efficacy and make data-based decisions.
- Provide direct instruction, supervision, training, and support to clients, staff members, and family members during scheduled visits.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the implemented treatment plan and modify it as necessary.
- Manage caseload and prepare and submit all required documentation on time, including assessments, treatment plans, insurance updates, session notes, and data analysis.
- MA degree in a related field and BCBA certification number.
- Able to identify and resolve obstacles in a timely manner, gather and analyze data, and develop alternative solutions.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Write clearly and informatively, edit work for grammar and spelling, and complete sentences.
- Follow policies and procedures, complete tasks on time, and support the organization's goals and values.
- Display original thinking and creativity, meet challenges with resourcefulness, and generate suggestions for improving work.
