Clinical Research Nurse II

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Research Nurse II to join our Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC). As a key member of our research team, you will provide hands-on care to patients participating in clinical trials, coordinate all aspects of clinical research, and work collaboratively with Principal Investigators, physicians, and other research staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient nursing care to research participants, including administration of research interventions and specimen collection.
- Monitor research participant data and report potential adverse events to the research team.
- Record research data in approved source documents, including vital signs, research compound administered, and participant responses.
- Triage patient calls and provide clinical information to patients, coordinating follow-up visits as needed.
- Assist with recruitment and logistics of study participants, including data compilation and documentation.
- Prepare data spreadsheets for Investigators and/or department, completing Case Report Forms as required.
- Act as a liaison between study participants and Principal Investigators or other research staff, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required; BSN preferred.
- Valid California RN license and current BLS certification required.
- Two (2) years minimum of nursing experience, with one (1) year of clinical research experience required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other project personnel.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to convey and/or receive written/verbal information to/from various audiences.
- Ability to interpret and apply knowledge of State, Federal, and Agency standards and regulations.
