Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator II, Thoracic

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator II to join our team in the Thoracic department. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical studies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate clinical study activities, including subject recruitment, data management, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and communicate a plan of care for research participants.
- Provide educational services to research participants and family members regarding study participation, current clinical condition, and disease process.
- Assess and document adverse events, work closely with the Principal Investigator to document according to department process, and report to regulatory and sponsor as required.
- Record research data where assessed or reported by patient, create and present education materials to the interdisciplinary team on study requirements, and triage patients by phone and provide clinical information.
- Complete and document study participant enrollment, assessment/reassessment, education, and follow-up activities, and ensure protocol is followed.
- Coordinate study participant tests and procedures as required, prepare data spreadsheets for Investigator and/or department, and perform oversight of research portfolio as it pertains to the clinical coordination of the studies.
- Associate Degree/College Diploma required, Bachelors Degree preferred.
- 3 years of Clinical nursing experience and 2 years of clinical research experience.
