Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Nursing Care: Provide high-quality patient care through the nursing process, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Research Coordination: Assume responsibility for the oversight of study clinical operations, ensuring compliance with study protocols and regulations.
  • Leadership and Management: Demonstrate leadership and management skills, including the ability to delegate tasks and promote teamwork.
  • Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients, families, and staff on clinical and patient care issues.
  • Data Management: Capture and document pertinent data onto source documents, including vital signs, adverse events, and concomitant medications.
  • Communication: Interact effectively with the Clinical Research Supervisor, Clinical Research Coordinators, independent contractors, administrative assistants, hospital staff, and other staff members.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.
  • Licensure: Active California Registered Nursing License or CA RPN.
  • Experience: 6 months or more of nursing experience.
  • Skills: Ability to complete a nursing physical assessment, implement interventions, develop a plan of care, and evaluate effective interventions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Clinical Research Experience: 1-2 years of clinical research experience.
  • Certification: Certified to administer Chemotherapy.
