Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team at Imperial Ferndale. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving cocktails, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and master a variety of classic and bespoke cocktails
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, including expediting food and drink orders
  • Participate in overseeing liquor inventory and communicating updates to staff
  • Cash guests out and perform basic cleaning tasks as needed
  • Fill in for absent staff as needed and assist with special events
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
  • Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or general equivalent
  • At least one (1) year experience as a bartender preferred
  • SERV Safe or TIPS certification highly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor

Work Environment:

Operates in a standard restaurant environment with moderate to loud noise, frequent exposure to variable temperature changes and steam.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to Bend, Squat, Run & Physically React in a Prompt Manner
  • Ability to Lift 35 lbs.
  • Ability to Stand for Very Long Periods of Time
