Brandeis University Senior Grants Manager Position

Brandeis University is seeking a Senior Grants Manager to contribute to a dynamic and diverse academic environment. The Senior Grants Manager, responsible for Post-Award Services, is vital in overseeing the financial and grant management processes for various research centers affiliated with the Heller School at Brandeis University. This position involves collaboration with principal investigators to ensure adherence to all sponsor guidelines and university policies. The role also requires close cooperation with multiple institutional offices to support Brandeis' fundamental research objectives.

The Grants Administration team operates on a hybrid work schedule, with specific in-office attendance to be determined.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage post-award obligations for assigned departments, programs, and organizations.
  • Oversee the administrative and financial components of federal and non-federal grants and contracts.
  • Evaluate agreements, track budgets, and authorize expenditures.
  • Assist with payroll distributions, financial reporting, and grant proposal development.
Job Requirements: A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience is necessary. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are critical.
