Lehigh Hanson is in search of a RMC Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. This role will primarily be based in a designated location while supporting various sites.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Are you ready to play a key role in ensuring our products meet stringent quality standards? As a RMC Quality Assurance Technician, you will be tasked with verifying that our Ready Mix Concrete adheres to the high standards expected from a leader in the industry. Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, along with company policies. Collecting daily quality control samples and conducting tests for Ready Mix Concrete and Aggregate. Documenting test results using quality control software. Providing insights to management to ensure production processes yield compliant products. Maintaining and calibrating testing instruments. Reviewing and discussing test outcomes with management. Traveling to various job sites and engaging with clients and regulatory agencies. Validating that appropriate materials and components are utilized in testing. Sampling and testing raw materials in accordance with specifications. Calibrating, cleaning, and maintaining production tools and testing equipment. Recording and reporting test findings to management. Building and nurturing relationships with plant personnel and clients. Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations; performing daily inspections and assisting in rectifying unsafe conditions.

What We Seek

High School Diploma or equivalent required; a college or technical degree is advantageous. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Ready Mix concrete testing is preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in basic mathematics. Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential. Proficient computer skills are preferred; familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications is a plus. Ability to learn and utilize computerized quality control software. Strong oral and written communication skills. Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as necessary. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, push, pull, twist, climb, balance, bend, kneel, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, working in confined spaces, and wearing personal protective equipment. Valid driver's license is required.
