Lehigh Hanson is looking for a RMC Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. This role will primarily be based in a central location but will involve support across various sites.

Key Responsibilities

Are you ready to play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards? As a RMC Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality of our Ready Mix Concrete products. Your duties will include:

Ensuring adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies. Collecting daily quality control samples and conducting tests for Ready Mix Concrete and Aggregate. Documenting test results using quality control software. Providing management with feedback to ensure production processes yield compliant products. Maintaining and calibrating testing equipment. Reviewing and discussing test results with management. Traveling to various job sites and engaging with customers and regulatory agencies. Validating the appropriate materials and components used in testing. Sampling and testing raw materials according to established specifications. Calibrating, cleaning, and maintaining production tools and testing equipment. Recording and reporting test results to management. Building and nurturing relationships with plant personnel and customers. Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including performing daily equipment inspections and identifying unsafe conditions.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; a college or technical degree is a plus. 2+ years of experience in Ready Mix concrete testing is preferred. Basic math skills are essential. A strong work ethic and reliability are crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications is preferred; solid computer skills are necessary. Ability to learn and utilize computerized quality control software. Effective communication skills, both oral and written. Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed. Physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, walk, push, pull, twist, climb, balance, bend, kneel, reach, grasp, and lift up to 50 lbs. Valid driver's license is required.
