As the Program Manager, you will thrive in a fast-paced setting, leading a team of outreach and operational professionals dedicated to IRA energy initiatives.
Your position will be highly visible, both within the organization and with external partners. You will be tasked with crafting both short-term and long-term implementation strategies, spearheading program execution, and cultivating trusted relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, and program representatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee program initiation and execution, including the formulation of work plans to achieve objectives, aligning team roles, and ensuring precise forecasting for both internal and client needs.
- Deliver large-scale energy programs to utility clients in accordance with contractual obligations and budgetary constraints.
- Identify, define, quantify, and monitor program deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Continuously evaluate project progress against goals and devise innovative solutions to emerging challenges and market dynamics.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a dynamic team by establishing and reviewing performance standards and objectives.
- Support outreach efforts through community engagement, program presentations, and relationship development.
- Foster and manage partnerships with subcontractors, community organizations, and other industry stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations, satisfaction, and communications, addressing and escalating issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with key internal departments such as IT, Marketing, Finance, and HR to enhance program efficiencies.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Located in the greater Columbus, OH; Indianapolis, IN; or Phoenix, AZ areas.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, energy, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in energy efficiency or a related sector, with a preference for Multifamily or Commercial & Industrial (C&I) program experience.
- Previous management experience, including leading technical teams.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing project scopes, budgets, and plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced energy-related certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
- A master's degree or MBA.
- Experience managing energy efficiency or weatherization programs focused on multi-family units.
