Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient evaluations and develop treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Perform routine history and physical examinations, order laboratory tests and X-rays, and interpret results.
- Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications and performing procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements through ongoing education and training.
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or equivalent.
- Registration with the New York State Education Department as a Physician Assistant.
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in a critical care or surgical environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
