Job Title: Per Diem Residential Aide

Join our team at Goddard Riverside Community Center as a Per Diem Residential Aide, providing essential support to individuals in transitional housing. This role is ideal for those passionate about helping others develop daily independent living skills.

About the Role:

As a Per Diem Residential Aide, you will assist tenants in developing daily independent living skills, including laundry, personal hygiene, and meal preparation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining attendance and monitoring client status
  • Receiving meal deliveries and maintaining the kitchen
  • Performing client intakes and providing facility orientations
  • Documenting intakes, bed swaps, attendance, and incident reports via CARES
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of applicable experience in a shelter or residential setting
  • Passion for working with individuals and families in transitional housing
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with others
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare required paperwork
  • Knowledge of DHS requirements and protocols
Preferred Qualifications:

We welcome candidates with:

  • Prior work experience with homeless/mentally ill individuals
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to use or learn multiple databases, including CARES
Work Environment:

This role requires working in a residential building, with occasional visits to client rooms and escorting residents to appointments. You will be part of a team-oriented environment, committed to building an inclusive workplace community grounded in respect for differences.
