Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Inspect, maintain, and repair specialized equipment and facilities to ensure they meet established standards and prevent further damage.
  • Equipment Oversight: Troubleshoot, escalate, and document issues according to established policies and procedures.
  • Delivery and Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, inventory, and distribute deliveries independently to appropriate entities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Assist trades, crafts, vendors, and technical staff with construction, design, and operational maintenance as needed.
  • After-Hours Support: Participate in after-hours on-call rotation to ensure seamless laboratory operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Qualifications: Mechanically-inclined individual with basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building mechanical issues.
  • Skills: Ability to work well with others, willingness to learn and be taught new skills and trades, and good communication skills.
Work Environment

This position requires a valid driver's license, ability to obtain and maintain a federal background test, and compliance with occupational health requirements.
