Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Trust and Estate Specialist to join our Wealth Strategies Consulting Group. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert advice on complex tax, trust, and estate matters to high-net-worth clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain strong relationships with financial consultants and portfolio consultants, providing them with the expertise they need to serve their clients' sophisticated financial affairs.

You will also be responsible for uncovering unstated needs from clients and offering additional Schwab services where relevant. Your exceptional presentation skills and ability to build strong internal relationships will be essential in this role.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional client service and driving business growth. If you have a strong background in tax, trust, and estate law, and a proven track record of success in a similar role, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial consultants and portfolio consultants
  • Provide expert advice on complex tax, trust, and estate matters to high-net-worth clients
  • Uncover unstated needs from clients and offer additional Schwab services where relevant
  • Present to large and small groups to share expertise and the offering to key partners
  • Educate internal partners on skills and ability to support their clients to drive referrals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Previous experience as a tax, trust, and estate attorney strongly preferred
  • At least one of the following is required: JD, LLM, CPA, CTFA, AEP
  • Extensive experience advising high-net-worth clients
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships due to working closely with branch financial consultants and portfolio consultants within Schwab Wealth Advisory
  • Shown experience in discovering unstated needs through diagnostic information gathering
  • Excellent presentation skills and demonstrated success in a collaborative environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication, listening, interpersonal, client service, networking, and analytical skills
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal effectiveness when working with high-net-worth clients
  • Travel approximately 10% to 25%
