Location Overview:

Situated within the Orlando International Airport campus, JetBlue Lodge is a full-service lodging facility designed to complement its adjacent JetBlue Training Center.

It features meeting spaces, a high-end café, a bar/lounge, and grab-and-go options, along with various outdoor recreational facilities to enhance guest interaction.

The Lodge will host JetBlue's new-hire orientation and training, ongoing pilot and crew training, and serve as a comfortable space for JetBlue executives and partners.


Position Summary:
We are seeking an individual with a passion for culinary arts to join our Culinary team. This role requires creativity, motivation, and a strong desire to enhance skills in the kitchen.


Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a professional kitchen environment, coupled with a strong eagerness to learn and collaborate with culinary leadership to design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and the restaurant's concept.


The Culinary Specialist will assist the Chef in the preparation and production of food items for various dining services, including cafeteria, banquet, and fine dining.

The role also involves maintaining a supportive leadership presence to ensure adequate production levels among kitchen staff.


Your Responsibilities:
  • Enhance your knowledge and skills in diverse cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, frying).
  • Gain experience using knives and various kitchen equipment.
  • Recreate and execute recipes accurately.
  • Maintain consistency in food preparation.
  • Learn to minimize food waste through effective cross-utilization.
  • Collaborate with a world-class culinary team.
  • Set up workstations with necessary ingredients and cooking tools.
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking (e.g., chopping vegetables, cutting meat).
  • Ensure a sanitized and organized kitchen environment.
  • Oversee proper storage of food and other items.
  • Take responsibility for the quality of ingredients used.
