Crouse Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Management Technician to maintain adequate inventory levels throughout the campus. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, basic computer knowledge, and strong communication and telephone skills.
Key Responsibilities- Requisition, receive, unpack, repack, stock, and deliver supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor and fill requests for items, accurately recording data related to issues and credits.
- Perform tasks in a customer-focused service environment, maintaining all portable patient care equipment and traction.
- Initiate repair procedures for equipment and perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Graduate of Sterile Processing/Distribution, Materials Management, or Supply Chain Management program within 1 year of hire.
- Certification as Sterile Processing/Distribution Technician or Materials Management is required at time of hire.
- A valid NY state driver's license is required for some aspects of this job.
- Certification with the certifying agency must be maintained throughout employment at Crouse Health.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
