Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition, receive, unpack, repack, stock, and deliver supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and fill requests for items, accurately recording data related to issues and credits.
  • Perform tasks in a customer-focused service environment, maintaining all portable patient care equipment and traction.
  • Initiate repair procedures for equipment and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of Sterile Processing/Distribution, Materials Management, or Supply Chain Management program within 1 year of hire.
  • Certification as Sterile Processing/Distribution Technician or Materials Management is required at time of hire.
  • A valid NY state driver's license is required for some aspects of this job.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification with the certifying agency must be maintained throughout employment at Crouse Health.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
