Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Territory Management and the Logistics Team to perform wholesale, off-lease, and retail vehicle assessments.
- Conduct inspections at various locations, including dealerships, physical auctions, off-site venues, and consumer residences.
- Complete vehicle condition assessments and related documentation, including interior/exterior evaluations, repair/replacement estimates, and identifying structural damage, frame conditions, and alignment issues.
- Utilize paint meter readings and perform AMP (Audio Motor Profile) recordings, along with Virtual Lift undercarriage imaging.
- List inspected wholesale vehicles on the ACV Auctions platform for bidding and purchasing.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to foster strong relationships and ensure satisfaction.
- Travel to and from dealerships, auctions, and consumer homes to conduct inspections and prepare condition reports.
- Work closely with Territory Management and Business Development to educate and share information on all ACV products and services.
- Stay updated on ACV product and service enhancements, customer demands, market trends, and implement new business strategies.
- Enlist independent dealerships as buyers to utilize ACV Auctions digital platform.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to understand and exceed client expectations.
- Preferred - 3 years of experience in the automotive sector (body, paint, and mechanical repair knowledge) with a strong customer service background.
- Resourceful problem-solving skills to address challenges with innovative solutions.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being part of a team.
- Must possess reliable transportation for travel to assignments and a valid driver's license.
- Preferably familiar with CRM tools, web-based applications, and automotive inspection instruments.
- Capability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Willingness to work in diverse conditions (indoor and outdoor).
- Ability to bend, squat, stoop, kneel, stand for extended periods, and lift as needed.
- Flexible availability, including weekends (primarily Saturdays), and the ability to be available between 8 am and 6 pm, with occasional evenings as required by business needs.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Compensation:
$21.50 per hour. This position is eligible for additional compensation in accordance with ACV's incentive compensation plan. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on the applicant's relevant experience, skill set, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
